The recordings of the last two pieces that I composed as part of my PhD research are now available on SoundCloud. Both are focused on the study of texture as one of the semantic dimensions of timbre and explore the correlations between tactile, visual and timbral perceptual experiences related to rust and dryness.
The Loneliness of the Rusted Things, for flute, oboe, clarinet, violin, viola and cello. Performed by Riot Ensemble at Crossroads International Contemporary Music Festival (Salzburg, 2021).
suelo seco, for amplified cello and piano. Commissioned by Illuminate Women’s Music, performed by Ivanna Peranic and Rachel Fryer. Live recording at Goldsmiths, University of London (2021).
